a link in a post from a blog to a specific post in another blog (like this), which then gets showed as a comment in that blog. It is standard procedure to list the address that the post will reside at (also called a permalink) in archived as a link called ‘trackback’.

If you were looking at the page Paul Weinberg at David Krut Bookshop in the Davidkrutpublishing.com site, and saw the first paragraph of this post, then yes it works.
