Merry Xmas to you

xmas treeBy way of saying merry Xmas, to you specifically, yours, and the world at large…

This is our much-talked-about DIY ‘flat’ Xmas tree. We decided to go with something more conventional this year. Je’anna picked the pine branch (from our garden:), I nailed it to the wall above the fireplace, we added a few pretty lights , tinsel and shrinky-dingk cut-out drawings of baubles (goes well with the whole ‘flat’ look) and there you have it. :-)

This next shot is supposed to give a better idea of its form – and fails miserably – you kinda have to see it in reality to really ‘get’ it.

On the topic of holidays, we are having a small, very toned-down thingy here for new years’ eve. If you are around and feel like an alternative to booze, bustle, crowds, noise et. or just feel like hanging with us come join us. That is if you can deal with tarot cards, long philosophical conversations xrtra-super healthy catering etc., give us a shout and drop in. (RSVP is NB)

Hope you enjoy the holidays whatever you get up to, be safe, take care and all the rest of that.
