InBox: Kazoo- it’s a live art thing: Saturday the 2nd of December

From my limited experience, there is at least one crowd around here, who
can be relied upon to really keep pushing the boundaries and who will, given half a chance
do their very best to drag Jo’burg – even or especially if kicking and
screaming – into contemporary art.

‘blog honour’ (prelude)

bloghonor

Don’t have time for a much of a post, just enough to mention I’ve just added the ‘blog honor’ badge to the sidebar. Of course I had to go and convert the graphic to grayscale, but that’s just me and my closet-goth aesthetic preference. Who knows I might just sign up on blogkits, but then I’d have to address the whole ‘whoring’ issue.

Suffice it to say I don’t think I’ve met anyone who doesn’t whore in one way or another.

Amazing Music Group – October 2006

With great skill and audacity I have sneaked into ‘The Amazing Music Group’ – okay, the truth is actually closer too ‘The Amazing Music Group’ seems to tolerate me around. I was pretty quiet last week at the gathering but that’s not going to stop me from reposting the notes.
My favourites were: Boards of Canada, the Johnny Cash album, TV on the Radio and Plaid- but I took that so that probably doesn’t count.
Looking forward to the next meeting, thinking of trying to get my hands on a copy of Cash’s cover of Trent Reznor’s ‘Hurt’.

Some Changes

Changes happening on the work front. In short, I’m moving across to the Forge Corporation side of things which will involve some changes to my schedule including some overlap with Eastern Standard Time work hours. I’m looking forward to an exciting new learning-curve and an expanding area of interaction, stay tuned for more.

I will again be taking on selected freelance projects. I’m particularly available for interesting illustration, interactive media projects and corporate identity challenges.

Don’t be shy :-)
