If you are looking for an example of pro-blogging you may as well leave right now. This is obviously not one of those super sleek, high readership, opinion forming, thought leadership, puncture-proof self-inflating A-list reputation, new-media publicity machines.

What it is instead, is my personal self-indulgent ad-hock online public notepad. I use it, believe it or not, to log stuff. Okay, I’ll admit I enjoy toying with the bells and toys and I do take a peek at the traffic stats about once a month. While we are that topic thank you for visiting, all of the above not withstanding I am flattered and gratified by your interest.

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that I sometimes have a little difficulty in deciding what category this blog would best fit into. ‘Miscellaneous’ or ‘Other’ are strong contenders but don’t really mean very much. Typically I post examples of my art, design and photography which function as casual online portfolios. Recently I’ve increasingly been posting notices and invitations I receive in my email inbox. Very occasionally the blogosphere will tickle me into trying to engage with some story or arena of discourse but I often lose interest…
