Seeing as Design Indaba 10 (2007)’s info is still kind of hard to find on their site I thought I’d post this in the meantime (via the kindness of Michelle at InteractiveAfrica)
Aside, what is it with south African design sites and currency?
Its only two months before the next indaba, but little online details or buzz – there is this article on trusty old Bizcommunity mentioning that early bird bookings opened on 13 Nov.
How is it that Google doesn’t seem to know about Think, the great Graphic Design Council of South Africa – I’m sure I saw a website somewhere – can ynone help?
(Update, found it via Icograda, its http://www.think.org.za/ , the .org threw me off, I thought it was a pretty commercial venture)
Then there is DSA – Design South Africa :: The Association of Professional Designers, its ‘current news‘ section was last updated 2005-09-28, can someone put that site out of its missery please, or is it making a bit of moola?
But If you make it to the Indaba you will hear how lively, dynamic and important design in South Africa is. Hmmm…
