Béo’s 1st bday, invite & loot list
Herewith the invite to Béo’s first birthday party, an event conceived predominantly by my endearing, creative brave wife. The basic idea is for the kids to have fun, good uhmmm… sensorially indulgent experientially explorative fun involving various safe-but-perhaps-a-little-messy substances. Adults are encouraged to engage with the kids on their terms – thus the suggestion regarding old/spare clothes. If you don’t have such damage-able clothes I’m sure we can improvise some temporary plastic protective wear. (Address and directions available on request.)
I’ve been asked to also put up the present wish-list here which makes sense in terms of dealing with the old ‘which of the three identical but lovely, pity we need only one, items can we return’ without causing undue offence etc. issue.

The MoMA store offers this roughly 24cm x 24cm x 3cm clock – sans the AA battery that it requires – for $48. This is giving me some crazy ideas involving metal filings.

SoCiety is a relatively new apparition in the mysterious world of progressive dance music and die-hard nightlife culture. Me thinks, in important ways an exciting one for our local progressive/creative scene.
