The previous version’s E’s were still a bit clumsy, resulting in poor legibility to viewers who’d not come across the name before. Also in response to some criticism of the recta-linear element in the S, I have sacrificed the allusion to a lightning bolt, seeing as although I was quite attached to it, I couldn’t come up with a convincing argument for keeping it. I never call any design a final, but I think this is it for the EYESPY logo design for now.
What do you think?

I quite like it, but the S and P that don’t align to the top of the rest somehow bothers me – is there a specific reason for this?
Thanx Martin.
I think the reason you are bothered is that you have a good eye, and have a point, the curvature of the top of the S I think does need to extend beyond the X-top (not quite so much though), but doing it to the P as well doesn’t gel with the treatment of the Es. I’m also not happy with the relationship between the two shapes forming the S in this version. I think I’ve sorted most of this out in the latest version
(Which now also works much better in very small sizes, as the more consistent spacing makes for more uniform anti-aliasing).
