Preliminary cover page design. I love book cover design, and designing a cover around subject matter from another great love – computing technology – is an absolute treat.

COBOL has been around since 1959 or there about (a 2nd generation programming language). The fact that it is still very-much around certainly counts for something.

WordPress Up-and-running!

Tadaa! After a bit of back and forth WordPress is up and running. Now I just have to personalise it a bit. For the moment only the link to the blog from the my static journal page is active, will activate the rest when things are a bit more polished.

Wonder how one creates a link that opens ina new browser window, supose you insert _blank somewhere, checking in the WordPress codex…
